                                                                                                                                                               Lock Stitch Machine:

Information: This is the cutting-edge model 2-needle sewing machine which comes with substantially enhanced mechanisms such as the direct-drive mechanism, semi-dry head, new thread tension control mechanism and improved oiling system.

No of needle Size  A: DP×5 (#9) #9~#16
                                  F: DP×5 (#10) #9~#16
                                  S: DP×5 (#14) #9~#16
                                 G: DP×5 (#21) #16~#23

Sewing Speed
:  3,000sti/min

Stitch length:
5mm (F type: 4mm)
No of needle:  1,2
Application: A: Light-weight, F: Foundation, S: Medium-weight, G: Jeans and heavy-weight

Over Lock Stitch Machine:

Information: The needle bar mechanism and upper looper mechanism have been redesigned to  require nolubrication. The frequency of stain removal or re-sewing is reduced. The most-advanced dry technologies, such as the special surface treatment applied to the major drive unit and the grease feeding method, contribute to higher durability.

Sewing Speed:  6,000sti/min

Stitch length:
0.8mm4mm

Needle:
DC×27 (excluding some subclass model)

 No of needle:  1,2-needle overlock

Flat Lock Stitch Machine:

Information: This is a newly designed JUKI's unique lockstitch machine. The machine is able to sew at a pitch as long as 7mm for both normal and reverse feed directions. With the adoption of a feed mechanism and thread takeup lever, the machine achieves increased efficiency of feed and well-tensed stitches. It is a basic lockstitch machine suited for sewing leather or heavy materials such as bags, pouches and purses.

Sewing Speed
:  4,000sti/min

Stitch length:
   7mm

Needle:
DB×1 #16~#23

No of needle:  1

No of Thread:  #40~#8, B33~B92, Nm=90/3~30/3

Button holding Machine:

Information: With the original horizontal forced feed mechanism, the button carrier sets a button in position so that the operation is simplified. Furthermore, operator fatigue is reduced since what operator needs to do is only setting material and pressing a pedal.

Sewing Speed
:  2700sti/min

Stitch length:
  0.1~10mm (0.1mm step)

Needle:
DP×17 (#14)

Type:
Round-shaped, flat button

Size:
φ8~φ32mm (standard φ8~φ20mm)

Button Attaching Machine:

Information: The series realizes the globally maximum sewing speed of 2700rpm. The high- speed performance allows quick sewing start and stop, and the high-speed thread trimming and high presser foot lifting speed significantly reduce the duration of sewing cycle.

Sewing Speed
:  1,800sti/min

Stitch length:
  0.110mm (0.1mm step)

Size:
8-32mm
Needle: TQ×7 (#16) #14#20

Bar tack Machine:

Information: The machine incorporates a mechanism and parts that are optimum for the sewing of extra heavy-weight materials, such as an extra high-lift type upper looper, tractor foot and coarse type feed dog. It demonstrates an excellent performance ability in the sewing of various kinds of heavy-weight materials such as jeans, raised fabric materials, mats and carpets.

Sewing Speed:
2,300sti/min
(1,800sti/min for synthetic thread)
Stitch length:  0.110mm (0.1mm step)
Needle: DP×5 (#16) #11#23
134 (Nm100) Nm75
Nm160

Blind Stitch Machine:

Information: The machine comes provided as standard with twenty different zigzags stitching, T-stitch and covering stitch patterns grouped into fourteen different types. The feed mechanism is controlled with a stepping motor, enabling continuous sewing at a high speed. A single unit is extremely versatile and can perform straight stitching, standard zigzag stitching, 2-step zigzag stitching, 3-step zigzag stitching, scallop stitching, and blind stitching. As a result, the system is available for a far wider range of applications.
Sewing Speed:  5,000sti/min, T-shape stitching: 4,000sti/min

Stitch length:  5mm

zigzags stitching width: 10mm

Needle: 438 (Nm70), DP×5 (#10)

Safety over Lock Machine:

Information: Since the machine comes with a needle-thread take-up mechanisms as well as a looper thread take-up mechanism, to offer upgraded responsiveness from light- to heavy-weight materials with a lower applied tension.

Sewing Speed:  7,000sti/min

Stitch length: 0.8mm4mm

Needle: DC×27 (excluding some subclass model)

Importance of twisted structure of textile fiber

Trelor in his Mather lecture, titled “Twisted Structures” adequately recognizes the role of twist in yarns and the part it plays in the design of textile structures .He discusses the obvious necessity of twist in the natural and staple fibers by pointing out “ Twist is essential to provide a certain minimum coherence between fibers, without a yarn having a significant tensile strength cannot be made. This coherence is dependent on the frictional forces brought into play by the lateral pressures between fibers arising from the application of a tensile stress along the yarn axis. With the introduction of continuous filament yarns, however, the role of twist must be reconsidered. In continuous filament yarns, twist is not necessary for the attainment of tensile strength (in fact, it reduces it) but it is necessary for the achievement of satisfactory resistance to abrasion, fatigue, or other types of damage associated with stresses other than a simple tensile stress, and typified ...

macro-structure of cotton fiber | Under a microscope cotton

Under a microscope a cotton fiber appears as a very fine, regular fiber, looking like a twisted ribbon or a collapsed and twisted tube. These twists are called convolutions there are about sixty convolutions per centimeter. The convolutions give cotton an uneven fiber surface, which increases inter-fiber friction and enables fine cotton, yearns of squatted strength to be spun. The appearance of the cotton fiber’s cross sections is referred as being kidney-shaped. The micro structure of cotton The cotton fiber is a single plant cell. Its cross-section is oval, compared with the normal hexagonal plant cell. Cotton has a district cuticle, well developed primary and secondary walls and a lumen. Layer 1 the cuticle is a waxy protective layer that provides water resistance to the fibers as they are growing. This lawyer is removed by scouring during processing before spinning.

Types of Yarn twist | different types of yarn twist | S twist | Z twist

Types of Yarn twist different types of yarn twist S twist Z twist“S” TWIST: A single yarn has “S” twist if when it is held in the vertical direction , the fibers inclined to the conform in direction of slope of the contact portion of the letter “S”. axis of the yarn “Z” TWIST. A single has “Z” twist if when it is held in the vertical direction, the fibers inclined to the yarn axis conform in the direction of the slope to the central portion of the letter “Z”. DIRECTION OF TWIST: In the designation of yarns, it is essential to specify the direction of twist. Besides its importance in simplifying the trade, it is of great technical importance in designing fabrics. For example, in a twill fabric, the direction of twist in the yarn is of particular importance in determining the predominance of twill effect. For a   right-handed twill, the best contrasting effect will be obtained when a yarn with Z twist is used; on the other-hand a left-handed twist will produce a fabric ha...
